Steel Wiping Felt

Steel wiping felt is used to remove oils, cutting fluids, burrs, and other contaminants from metal master rolls as it is being, straightened, or slit into coils. Monarch Textiles supplies industrial felt in several specified thicknesses from 1/4" to 1/2" for steel wiping applications. Polyester felt is the most common for this purpose, but felt of other types is available as well. Our steel wiping felt is available for soft or rigid metals as roll goods in specified widths, or as pre-cut sheets.
