Densified Batting

Densified batting is produced in essentially the same manner as thermo bonded highloft roll goods. However, in the manufacturing process, aprons within the oven are incorporated to condense or “crush” the material to a specified thickness of far greater density. The low-melt polyester fibers in the material hold its thickness throughout the life of the product. Monarch Textiles’ offers densified batting in thicknesses from 1/8” upwards. We also offer a variety of converting services for our densified batting, including die cutting, slitting, and more.
